How pricing works
A Senderz plan is priced on one number: how many marketable contacts you have. Not sends, not seats, not features. A marketable contact is a contact who is subscribed on at least one channel. See Contact limits for exactly what counts, because it is usually far fewer than the total number of contacts in your workspace. Three things are true of every tier:- Billing is monthly. There is no annual option and no annual discount.
- Prices are in US dollars and exclude VAT. You confirm the final amount at checkout.
- There is no free plan and no free trial. A workspace that has not activated a plan shows as Payment required and cannot send marketing.
The tiers
Eight self-service tiers, plus Enterprise.
The current price for each tier is shown live on the Plans tab. Pick a contact count from the row of chips and the card below updates with the price and the limits.
Enterprise is contact sales. It has no self-service checkout. The button opens an email to the Senderz sales team.
The email allowance is 12 times the contact limit on every self-service
tier. Of the two numbers, the contact limit is the one enforced
automatically. Your monthly email sends are tracked and shown on the plan
usage card on your dashboard.
What a plan does not include
Your plan also does not cover what you pay other companies. The AI features run on your own provider key, so Anthropic, Google or OpenAI bill you directly for AI usage and Senderz adds no markup. See AI provider. Compare all features under the plan card opens a wider table. Treat the contacts and email sends columns as the plan’s real limits.Activating a new workspace
A workspace created on or after 12 August 2026 must activate a paid plan before it can be used. This is the last step of onboarding.1
Finish the setup steps
Connect a store, import contacts, verify a sending domain, request an SMS
sender name and confirm the legal terms.
2
Pick your contact tier
The final step shows two counts side by side: Contacts in your
workspace and Marketable contacts. The slider is pre-set to the
smallest tier that covers your marketable contacts.
3
Accept the automatic-upgrade terms
A checkbox has to be ticked before checkout will open. See
Contact limits for what you are agreeing to
and how to switch it off afterwards.
4
Complete checkout
You are sent to a secure checkout, or to Shopify if your store bills you.
Senderz waits for confirmation and then unlocks the workspace.
Workspaces created before 12 August 2026 are not affected by this gate. They
keep working as they did.
Changing plan
Open Settings → Plans & Billing → Plans, pick a different contact count, then confirm.Upgrading
Upgrading
The new plan applies immediately. The price difference is prorated, so you
only pay for the rest of the current period at the higher rate. Campaigns
and automations keep running through the change.
Downgrading
Downgrading
Also immediate and also prorated. You cannot drop below your current
marketable contact count. Tiers that are too small are shown greyed out
with the reason, and the change is refused server side even if you try
another way. Reduce your marketable contacts first, then downgrade.
If your store bills you
If your store bills you
Choosing a plan sends you to your store to approve a new charge. The new
charge replaces the current one once you approve it. Nothing changes in
Senderz until then.
Where billing is managed
Senderz workspaces are billed one of two ways, and you only ever see one of them.- Billed by card
- Billed by your store
This is the default for anyone who signed up on the web.
- Update payment method at the top of the Plans & Billing screen opens your billing provider’s page to change the card on file.
- Invoice history on the Details & FAQ tab lists every subscription payment and every SMS credit pack, with a download link for each receipt.
- Cancel subscription and Keep subscription are available on the current plan card.
Invoices and receipts
On a card-billed workspace, Details & FAQ → Invoice history lists each payment with its date, what it was for, the amount, its status and a download link. Both kinds of payment appear there:- Subscription payment for your monthly plan.
- SMS credit pack for each credit purchase.
Cancelling
Use Cancel subscription on the current plan card. You are asked to confirm, and the dialog names the date access ends.- You keep full access until the end of the current billing period. Nothing is cut off on the day you cancel.
- The plan card then shows Cancelling with that date.
- Keep subscription appears in place of the cancel button. Pressing it before the period ends reverses the cancellation and the plan carries on.
- After the period ends the workspace returns to Payment required. Your data stays. Marketing sending stops until a paid plan is activated again.
Cancelling a plan does not touch your SMS credit balance. Credits are bought
separately, do not expire, and remain on the workspace.
Common problems
The tier I want is greyed out
The tier I want is greyed out
It is smaller than your current marketable contact count. The hint under
the chips tells you how many marketable contacts the workspace has. Pick a
tier that covers them, or reduce the count first.
Checkout will not open
Checkout will not open
The automatic-upgrade terms checkbox above the plan card has to be ticked
first. It is required for every plan purchase.
No billing account yet
No billing account yet
The workspace has never completed a plan checkout, so there is nothing to
manage yet. Choose a plan to start.
A campaign failed with a billing message
A campaign failed with a billing message
Sending is blocked while a workspace has no active paid plan, and paused
separately if the workspace is suspended or held for deliverability
review. The campaign banner names which one it is.
