Every marketing email carries a From name and a From address. In Senderz both are managed lists, so your team picks from approved values instead of typing something different every time. You manage them in Settings → Domains & senders, under the domains table. There are three cards: Sender addresses, Default sender and Sender names.
These are email settings. They are not the same thing as an SMS Sender name, which is a separate branded From name for text messages and lives in Settings → SMS Sender names. See SMS sender IDs.

Sender addresses

A sender address is a real mailbox on one of your verified domains, for example hello@example.com. It is what recipients see, and it is where their replies and any bounces go. A verified domain is not enough on its own. Each address has to confirm itself before it can send.
1

Add the address

In the Sender addresses card, type the part before the @ and pick the domain. Only verified domains appear in the list. If none do, verify a domain first. See Domains & authentication.
2

Open the confirmation email

Senderz emails that mailbox a confirmation link. Someone who can read the inbox opens it, and the address flips to Verified. The confirmation page tells you which address was confirmed.
3

Use it

The address now appears in the sender picker in the campaign builder and in automation email steps.
The mailbox has to confirm because replies and bounces have to land somewhere real. Nobody at Senderz reviews or approves the address. Opening the link is the whole approval.

Statuses

The list refreshes on its own while any address is awaiting verification, so it turns green shortly after someone opens the link.

Resending

Choose Resend on the row. There is a one minute wait between sends, so a fast second click tells you a verification email was just sent and to try again in a minute. Confirmation links are valid for 48 hours. An expired link cannot be reused. Resend to get a fresh one. Resending also replaces the previous link, so only the newest email works.

Limits and removal

You can hold up to 100 sender addresses per workspace. Choose Remove sender address to delete one. Removing a domain removes every sender address on it.
If you send from an address that has not been confirmed, the send is refused with This sender address has not been verified yet. Confirm it from the verification email before sending. The campaign review step catches this before you schedule, and the error links straight back to this screen.

Sender names

A sender name is the From name recipients read next to your address, for example Tamar from Senderz. The list is workspace wide and is not tied to a domain, so any name can pair with any address. Use the Sender names card to add one, and the menu on each row to Edit, Duplicate or Delete. Duplicating creates a copy with (copy) appended, which is handy when you want a small variation. Each row shows how many emails have gone out under that name and when it was last used. You can hold up to 50 sender names per workspace.

Name validation

Senderz checks a name as you type and shows the result under the field.
  • The characters <, >, @, ", [, ] and backslash. They break the From header outright.
  • Line breaks and other control characters.
  • Names over 100 characters.
  • Punctuation like . , : ; ( ), which some inboxes render oddly because it has to be quoted.
  • Repeated punctuation such as !!! or ***, which can trigger spam filters.
  • Emoji, which hurt deliverability and render inconsistently across inboxes.
  • Anything that looks like a link or a domain name, which can be read as spoofing.
  • Names over 60 characters, because some inboxes shorten them.
A recognisable human name plus your brand tends to perform best, for example Tamar from Example. Keep it stable. Recipients filter and search on the From name, so changing it often costs you engagement.

Default sender

The Default sender card holds one name and one address for the whole workspace. It does two things.

Prefills new work

New campaigns and new automation email steps start with these values already filled in, so nobody has to remember them.

Fills the gap at send time

If a campaign or an automation email step has no sender of its own when it sends, the default is used. The name and the address fall back independently.
The address must already be a verified sender address on a verified domain. If you pick one that is no longer verified, the card says so and the save is refused.

Apply to all messages

Setting the default only affects new work and send-time gaps. To stamp it onto what already exists, choose Apply to all messages. Before it runs you get an exact count, for example that the sender email will be applied to 4 campaigns and 2 automations. Confirm to apply.
It rewrites campaigns that are draft, scheduled or paused, and email steps in automations that are draft, active or paused. Campaigns that have already sent are never changed. The action is recorded in your workspace audit log.

Errors you might see

Send-time failures also show up in the campaign review checklist before you schedule, and on a failed campaign as a named reason rather than a generic error.

Who can do what

Confirming a sender address does not need a Senderz account at all. Anyone who can read that mailbox can open the link.
